Why "Performing Arts Ministry?"

A simple answer is that it more accurately describes what we do at Parkside Church. Worship is much more than what happens on Sunday Morning. It is what we do at all times. Everything we do is an act of worship whereby we proclaim the value of God in our lives. What we do is much more than music. It is drama, decoration, multimedia, lighting, sound, discipleship, evangelism and much more. Performing Arts Ministry says that what we do is about public presentations of creative events that communicate the word of God in living and breathing modes that endeavor to pave the way for God to touch and transform people to be followers of Jesus. Everyone is invited to be a part of this ministry. You can sing in the choir. You can help with technical needs. You can build sets for a production. You can act in a play or sketch. You can play or sing on the worship team. You can create your own niche. You can be part of the Performing Arts Ministry Team by just asking John, “How can I help?” Be a part of this vibrant ministry at Parkside Church!
